The Norwegian Defence Research Establishment (FFI) is conducting a long term research project aiming to find trends in the usage and availability of different Internet services. One part of this project is conducting port scanning of Internet connected machines and devices. The data from such a survey will give valuable input to the research of available Internet services.

This project does in no way try to break authentication barriers; it only aims to document publically available services.

We will of course respect any request to be excluded from future scans. If you want to be excluded from future scans, please specify the IP addresses or CIDR blocks you want excluded in an email the project which is reachable at utsikt@ffi.no. And we will add the IP addresses or CIDR blocks to the black list as soon as possible.
